The fort is located 40kms away from the city of Sawai Madhopur of Rajasthan. For a person travelling by train, they can board a train that stops at the Sawai Madhopur station which is 11kms away from the Ranthambore National park and then avail a bus or taxi that directly reaches the fort. The closest airport is the Jaipur Airport about 197 km away from the fort. One can opt for tourist buses or a train to reach the fort from the airport.
THINGS TO DO IN AND AROUND
The fort consists of seven temples including one Jain temple that has the rock cut idols of Jain gurus. The other temples are the Hanuman temple, Chaturbhuja Temple, Gobind Devji Temple, Jayanti Mata Temple and the Jagatpalji Temple. The fort contains two huge water tanks called the Ramkunda and Laxman Munda along with seven smaller ponds.
